6 peppers of different colors
500g. of mixed meat for minced meat sauce
400g. of tomato pulp in very fine Mutti pieces
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
2 tablespoons of grated parrmesan
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
60ml of milk
In a bowl mix the meat with the whole egg, the parmesan and the breadcrumbs soaked in milk.
Season with two tablespoons of chopped parsley, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Cut the peppers in half for the length. Remove the seeds and the filaments, then fill them with the filling.
In a large saucepan, cook teh chopped onion and the crushed garlic clove with a few tablespoons of oil.
Add the tomato pulp into very fine Mutti pieces, season with salt and lay the stuffed peppers on it.
Cook covered on low heat for about 25 minutes.
Serce sprinkled with fresh thyme.
